ENGAGEMENT SHOOTING at THORUFOSS

Emily and Bobby traveled all the way from New Jersey to Iceland to celebrate their engagement at the icy Thorufoss waterfall by having the most beautiful Iceland Engagement Photoshoot. Despite the cold wave of the last days of winter here, we were able to do the engagement photo session on a very beautiful day. It was (almost) neither windy nor cold—a great treat in Iceland at this time! Here in Iceland, during the month of March, these delightful days of good weather and minimal winds are called "fool’s spring'' because you think spring is coming, but in actuality, the third winter has yet to arrive. Even though the day was gorgeous, as you can see from the photos, both the waterfall and the river were still half-frozen. They were very brave and full of excitement; so much so, that they could push through the whole session without their jackets on! Seriously, in an Iceland Engagement shoot… such troopers!

If you have been following along with my work, you probably have already noticed that I don't really enjoy the “very posed” style. I definitely prefer the documentary style, giving you the space to be who you really are and enjoy every moment of your very special day. Emily and Bobby both did a spectacular job with this and I am so happy to have worked with them. I am absolutely thrilled with the results we walked away with as well.
